INGREDIENTS

2 oz bourbon
0.75 oz fresh lime juice
6 mint leaves
6-7 blackberries
1.25 oz simple syrup
1.5 oz lime La Croix
Ice
Fresh blackberries and mint leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Combine mint leaves, lime juice, and 3-4 blackberries in a cocktail shaker. Muddle until pulverized.

  2. Add bourbon, ice and simple syrup and shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds.

    1. If needing to make simple syrup, it is a 1:1 ratio of granulated sugar to water. Heat equal parts in a saucepan on the stove until sugar has dissolved. Chill slightly and then it is ready for use!

  3. Strain contents into a glass filled with fresh ice and top with lime La Croix. Stir and garnish with 3 more blackberries and fresh mint leaves, if desired. Enjoy!
