INGREDIENTS

Big handfuls of fresh, crisp mixed greens, arugula, spinach, or a spring mix work great!
Fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
Crumbled goat cheese
Couple tablespoons of toasted nuts, walnuts, almonds, or pecans work great!
Fresh basil leaves, freshly torn
Olive oil salt and pepper to taste
Good balsamic vinegar
Maple syrup
Salt + pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Make the dressing:
In a small bowl or jar, whisk together 2 parts olive oil, 1 part balsamic vinegar, and 1–2 teaspoons of maple syrup, to taste. Season with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper. Taste and adjust as needed—this dressing should be bright, lightly sweet, and well-balanced.

  2. Assemble the salad:
In a large mixing bowl, combine mixed greens, sliced strawberries, crumbled goat cheese, and toasted nuts of your choice (such as walnuts, almonds, or pecans). Optionally, add a few thin slices of red onion or fresh basil leaves for extra flavor.

  3. Toss and serve:
Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss until everything is evenly coated. Serve immediately and enjoy!
